1955 Chevy Bel Air
This Chevy will be powered by a supercharged LS2 engine and ride on a custom aftermarket frame and suspension.

Body work is almost complete on this ’55 Chevy.

A durable textured material will be applied to all of the interior for noise suppression
and years of protection.

The transmission hump was enlarged to make room for a T56 transmission.

A new Ford 9" rear was used for strength. The floor pan was reshaped to accommodate
the new rear and suspension.

A supercharger was added to the new LS2 to push horsepower to over 500.

The car was then ready to be dismantled.

The Roadster Shop frame will now be powder coated while the body is painted.

The LS2 is waiting on the frame to be finished for reinstallation.

The powder coated frame and drivetrain were assembled along with the suspension.

The independent rear features inboard disc brakes.

The firewall has been painted and the body placed back on the frame.

Back in the paint booth, paint was applied to the rest of the body.

The dash, door panels and rear package shelf was also painted body color.

After painting is finished the car will be wet sanded.

Torque Thrust wheels add just the right amount of nostalgia to this modern Bel Air.

Fat tires will struggle to handle major power when this car is complete.

A custom radiator from Wizard Cooling will keep this blown beast cool.
